Later Life Ambitions responds to the vote suspending the ‘Triple Lock’

Later Life Ambitions has expressed its strong opposition once again after the state pension ‘Triple Lock’ was voted against in the House of Commons yesterday.

Removing the triple lock will have a devastating impact on our pensioners. Removing it will potentially push 700,000 pensioners into poverty and will disproportionately impact women.

We are bitterly disappointed that the Government has continued with their decision to suspend the triple lock for one year, particularly at a time when the cost of living is soaring for pensioners.
