The Connect Group is an award-winning communications agency ranked in the PR Week UK Top 10 for public affairs, winning the PRCA awards for Best Campaign and Best Planning Campaign in 2022. We have a fast-growing team of over 50 consultants, with offices in Westminster and Belfast. We work with a diverse range of clients, from FTSE 100 companies and leading trade bodies to coalitions and charities.
We are committed to maintaining high professional and ethical standards. We are members of the PRCA and CIPR, adhering to all industry codes, and hold the Investors in People Gold Standard.
Due to client growth, we are looking to hire into our team at mid to mid-senior level. We are looking for consultants with 3 to 5 years experience of working in public affairs, policy or politics who want to work in a dynamic environment to support our clients with their complex communications challenges.
You will be working with a cross-party, team with experience in Parliament, the political parties, trades unions, charities, local government and business across a range of policy areas. You will be client facing from day one, and will project manage accounts as well as playing a role in the future growth of Connect. You will be able to meet deadlines, work effectively across teams, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ideally, you will have an interest in health, education, and tech, but we welcome self-starters and those with a passion to get to grips with new policy briefs. You will also be actively involved in helping to bring in new business so having solid research skills, the ability to judge a client’s needs, and being a team player will be key.
