David Halliwell is a Senior Counsel at Connect. David provides senior counsel to clients drawing on his expertise in housing, planning and regeneration policy, as well as national politics and the political environment in London and other major UK cities.

 

Prior to joining Connect, David was a senior adviser on Government Relations in the office of the Mayor of London. At City Hall, David worked closely with the Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills and was integral to the publication of the Mayor's London Plan. With an extensive career across the public, private and third sector, David has played a strategic role in award winning campaigns, high profile media opportunities and political influencing for a diverse range of organisations and clients.
