We are looking for candidates who are interested in working in built environment public affairs, with potential to become excellent consultants. The role will be varied but will centre around supporting developers and builders of housing, employment space and infrastructure to achieve their goals of delivering projects that improve the built environment. The role will include but not be limited to:
- Planning and development communications
- Political and stakeholder engagement
- Event organisation
- Media handling
The most important quality we are looking for is a passion for politics and the built environment coupled with a desire to make a career in public affairs. This position would suit recent graduates and those recently starting their careers.
You will be working with a cross-party, dynamic team with experience in local government, political parties, think tanks, charities, Parliament, media and business with a focus on planning and development public affairs and communications.
You will be working directly for our clients from day one, providing them with reports, research briefings, stakeholder engagement support and political intelligence.
We provide our graduates with experience across the business, including in planning regulations, public affairs, media handling and corporate communications over their first six months. You will also benefit from our CPD accredited training from our own training arm, Connect Training. We offer fortnightly all-company training, and bespoke monthly training for fast-track entrants on parliamentary procedure, campaign planning and media engagement.
In addition to your line manager, we also provide a dedicated mentor from our experienced team to support you in your career development.
